I visited Rome in the winter of 2013, around Christmas time. Stayed in a tiny boutique hotel inside Vatican City, which had the history of hosting priests and religious figures before.The visit was very short (less than 24 hours), allowing just for some night tours of the city and a full walkthrough of the famous Vatican museum complex and Sistine Chapel — got some amazing shots there!

Arriving in the evening into the “special” hotel, and touring the city a bit by night to see some of the dazzling lit buildings squares

Having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the Vatican terraces and walking around them a bit

Visiting the glorious Vatican Museum with its beautiful galleries and displays of global historic art
