As Switzerland is one of my favorite countries, I have visited Zurich (the largest city) several times from 1985-2008. The city is mostly developed and buildings are historic, so not much has changed visually over those 20 years except technology and prices…it is now ranked as the most expensive city in the world. The photos are from the most recent visit only.
Zurich is the banking capital of the world and falls in the German part of Switzerland. As it is a rather small country, most other places can be reached within a short drive and people usually fly into Zurich airport to access other touristic locations around. Zurich itself is quite scenic and neighboring a beautiful lake that bears its name. It’s also known for some nice Swiss-German dishes.
