This is the quaint capital city of Armenia, which is part of the beautiful Caucuses region in Southeastern Europe. I visited here once, in summer 2024. The charming central area is small enough to explore by foot, or by scooter which is my favorite way!
There are lots of parks, historic building and museums around, along with the most visible monument which is the huge Cascade staircase. On clear days, the city also offers a view of the snowy peak of Mt. Ararat which lays over the Turkish border.
