I visited Bulgaria’s capital city first in 2011 then again in 2021, the latter time being quite a hot summer! The charming city is nestled between mountains and maintains its quaint Eastern European style. The central area features a prominent church (which can’t be missed even from the air) and a long walking street filled with shops & cafes.
