Seoul is the largest city of South Korea and home of its past historic empire. I visited here back in 2010 and more recently 2023, certainly noticed it huge growth and prosperity and recent years given its renowned success in industries such as automobiles (Hyundai & Kia), electronics (Samsung & LG), and of course the arts (music, film, k-pop & series etc.)
The city straddles a large river and other inlet waterways, and is home to many museums and galleries as well as the famous imperial palace complex from the 15th century. Other popular areas include the upscale Itaewon district and of course Gangnam (made famous by the viral song) which is home to Korea’s rich and famous millennials.
I stayed in a large hotel/residence complex called Dragon City near the river, and here are some views of that:

I visited the Gangnam area in evening hours, saw some interestingly-shaped buildings there and had a traditional Korean feast dinner:
