Nestled in a mountain range, this charming Bosnian capital is part of the beautiful Balkans region of southern Europe. I visited here in 2022 and suprised to see the level of modernity and development happening, with modern structures alongside quaint historic areas.

The city is famous for its river banks and bridges as well as ancient mosques, though recently it has become a shopping and lifestyle destination as well, with lots of people buying real estate here to have an escape from larger/busier cities.
