This beautiful lakeside city is the largest in Switzerland, also its famous financial capital. Beside being obviously scenic, Zurich is quite rich and grandiose, and expensive to boot!

I visited this city among other parts of Switzerland many times over the years, most recently in the hot summer of 2022. Still impressed each time to see its historic old center areas and amazing lakeside promenade, though my budget only allows for short visits here at a time, so the photos are quite limited as well 🙂

Here you can see various views around the central district with a mix of old and new buildings, also the nice walking areas and boat quays beside the lake.

My favorite transportation methods in Europe are always scooter & train, convenient and also enviroment-friendly!

Some of the popular Swiss dishes here include the schnitzel, and also veal with mushroom cream and rosti potatoes.
