I visited this city in the summer of 2022, although I wasn’t to keen to do so given its reputation. Thailand is seen as somewhat of an “adult playground” and that is certainly apparent in some neighborhoods but not all of the city, fortunately!

The central area by the river is quite stunning, lined with modern colorful towers in all directions. Luckily my hotel was in this area and I also visited a massive shopping mall nearby.

On arrival from the air, the huge sight of buildings almost seems like New York City!
