This is a charming waterside city along the eastern tip of Canada. With a lower population, it avoids the traffic and noise of larger cities and keeps a very relaxing and liveable feel! I visited here in 2022 and enjoyed exploring the hip central area and waterfront parks – local seafood was amazing too as you could imagine.
The city has a colorful vibe all around and easily tourable by scooter. You’ll see chairs and hammocks laid out for people to use by the water and a variety of boats, jet skis, kayaks and other water activities readily available. There’s also a a large hill in the middle of town where you can catch great views of the bay, and a several scenic islands around to look at!
Quite possibly the best seafood chowder & grilled scallops I ever had!
